From the moment I got out of the car, saw the house sitting in a glade in the forest, and heard the tinkling sound of the waterfall, I knew that this was going to be perfect. We had a wonderful stay and plan to return again and again.

Mountain Thyme was a wonderful getaway! It's only a few minutes from downtown Saluda, but it is also secluded and peaceful. There is a stream with a fire pit sitting next to the shore, where we would hang out in the mornings with tea. We went on multiple waterfall hikes nearby, went to apple orchards, ate in Saluda, Flatrock, and Hendersonville. This made for a nice central location to explore from.
The house itself was clean, seemed well maintained, and was cozy. There is a moss garden out back with moss that is like 6" thick! Highly recommend walking barefoot across it : )
We highly recommend this place and are looking forward to coming back in the future!
